By sourcing from Haitian farming cooperatives, we support communities rebuilding their cacao industry while creating chocolate that honors the beans' unique character. Story

The Grower, based in the gorgeous Cap-Haïtien area in the country’s north, with more than 1,500 farmers - including 500 women - increase their income and reverse deforestation while cultivating the best cacao beans in Haiti.

It's been a while since I'd had this particular chocolate. Beautiful berry taste - the tasting notes are accurate. Really excellent

Made us proud

My family & I are Haitians & we got so excited to taste this chocolate bar, as of on the midst of all that is happening our farmers are still getting recognition somehow, and our land still has much to offer. We were then delighted to see how amazing the chocolate tasted. I am just on the website ´cuz I was thinking of buying some more, as I do not leave close to Almonte.

Quality chocolate

I bought this chocolate solely on the flavour profile description, and was not disappointed as the described flavour profile was very accurate to the flavour it had.

We have a sweet spot for anything Haitian having lived there in the past. Anytime we can get some money flowing to Haiti, either directly or indirectly, we are on board. When coupled with DELICIOUS chocolate, there is no downside. It's our favourite of the single-origins because of its raspberry notes. If you like hints of berry, this one is incredible. I'm shocked that I am the first to review this! Every time that we are in town we buy at least 4 of them to stock up. I hope the relationship with the farmers continues to be strong and that the political situation in Haiti does not jeopardize this chocolate in the future.
