A PB & Joy to make your inner kid smile!
A Match Made in Almonte:
We blend freshly roasted peanuts directly into our Golden Bean-winning Hispaniola 65% dark chocolate during the refining process, creating a smooth, creamy bar where peanut butter and craft chocolate become one. This isn't chocolate with peanut butter added—it's bean-to-bar chocolate reimagined with roasted peanuts as an integral ingredient.
Tasting Notes:
Rich, nutty, and perfectly balanced with the bright berry notes of our Dominican cacao shining through the roasted peanut flavor. The 65% cacao content provides deep chocolate character while the peanuts add natural creaminess and satisfying richness.
Craft Chocolate Innovation:
Starting with the same exceptional Hispaniola beans that won Best Chocolate in the World, we roast premium peanuts in-house and incorporate them during our bean-to-bar process. The result is a sophisticated take on a classic combination.
Pure Ingredients:
Ethically sourced Dominican cacao beans, freshly roasted peanuts, organic cane sugar, and cocoa butter. Gluten-free and soy-free.

Growing up on a farm, I would have to take an hour-long bus ride to school. My mom would always pack a peanut butter & jelly sandwich for me. I’d savour it while the country-side passed by. Pure bliss. This bar brings me back. We roast and grind peanuts with cocoa beans from the Dominican Republic with lovely fruity notes.

Very smooth, creamy, dark chocolate. Fantastic taste.
If you're looking for the peanut taste, keep looking. It's not here.
I think this is a new top three favourite. I usually only like darker chocolate but it was a treat! Memories of childhood and that hit of peanuts without a crunch.
I personally didn’t get a big peanut butter flavour but the chocolate is still super delicious
I get the high quality and the berry forward flavour.
However, I wonder if peanuts easily melt in the mouth.
I think adding the peanuts may reduce the ability of this chocolate to melt.
I really don't see the point of adding the peanuts, apart from as a filler to reduce the
costs.
When I ate this chocolate, I had to eat more, and chew, in order to get it to dissolve.
Still, an excellent chocolate.
As a side note, I was inspired by a YouTube Video on chocolate to search out Hummingbird Chocolate: Epicurious. Expert tries chocolate.
I had tried the company's chocolate before.
