This Vancouver Island Salt Co. flake sea salt, is cold smoked using single malt whisky barrels from their west coast neighbours at Shelter Point Distillery. The oak imparts a deep smokey flavour with a hint of sweetness and vanilla notes that the award-winning whisky is known for.
Amazing on grilled meats, seafood, veggie bowls & tofu dishes, as well as a great cocktail rimmer, and an incredible compliment to sweets such as salted caramels & chocolate desserts.
